    HI. Can you let me know the CSS to paste into the “Custom styles” field in order to edit the opacity of the black band that the title text sits into please?

    I have tried this: but it doesn’t work:

    .placid_slider .placid-excerpt {
    background: rgba(0,0,0,0.2) !important;
    }

    Hello Martin

    Thanks for writing to us.

    Please use below CSS in Placid slider => Global Settings => Custom Styles.

    .placid_slider_instance .placid_text {
    background: rgba(0,0,0,0.2) !important;
    }

    Let me know if it helps.
    Thank you for your patience.

    Best Regards,
